Food tastes so disgusting. Whatever they are selling here is not Korean food
I ordered Galbi Tang and Ramyun, but the tastes were not real Korean foods. Beef short rib was too chewy like a rubber, and ramyun was so mingle and different from a real Korean ramyun. I don't recommend any Korean foods at this place. I just can recommend grab-and-go Korean foods like Kimbob or others. I will not order any Korean foods in the future.
When shopping we have stopped in to grab a bite to eat a few times & enjoyed it each time. The bulgogi bbq, tteokbokki & mandu are all pretty good. They are a little pricey but not so pricey that we won't order, haha. Tasty snacks.
This food court is smaller than the ones we know at other HMart locations and we were not so interested in this one until this time. But, we were hungry and were intrigued by the menu items at this Korean "snack bar". Got the Black Bean Noodles and "Japchae Bap" (grass noodles). The food was very good and the service was friendly. Also the portions were generous. This is not our go-to HMart but we were pleasantly surprised at how good this was.
Love , love the food affordable and delicious. 2023 Edit , the food is not the same anymore as it was a few years back. The sides are very minimal and cheap.
Mediocre and very overpriced
Good food

A good place for lunch or dinner as it's fast, quiet, and spacious for individuals and small groups. _____________________________________________ = Food Quality = Japchaebap ($9.99): 4/5 - Delicious stir fried noodles with beef, onions, and a very interesting mixture of sweetness and beef juice? Anyways the flavors are very unique and tempting, I had a good time trying all the different flavors in this dish. Portion size is great as well. Jajangmyeon ($7.99): 4/5 - Tasty black bean sauce noodles with a delicate, smokey flavor. The sauce is very smooth and engulfs the entire dish, it's texture is a mix between soft and creamy, but don't worry, it's very crisp and fits well with the somewhat starchy noodles. _____________________________________________ = Price / Service = The price is decent, some dishes may be considered cheap but the others are average to semi-expensive. The portion sizes are fair though. Self-service, basically order by the counter and wait for them to make the food. _____________________________________________ Miscellaneous (Other): - Smelly Restroom, Sometimes - Free Sides with Food - Convenient Grocery Location Signed NK (July 2017) Images below by Jason Lx (NK)
